The Canada Carbon Rebate (CCR) is also called the Climate Action Incentive (CAI). It is money given by the Government of Canada. This payment helps people and families balance the cost of pollution pricing.
It is a tax-free payment. People in small towns and rural areas benefit the most from this plan. The government started this payment in July 2023.
The money is sent every three months. People get it directly in their bank account or by cheque. To receive it, you must meet certain rules.
