Dear Potential Montessori families,
Bayside Montessori School is a private School providing a broad-based education to children for over 30 years.
100% of your tuition goes to specialized Montessori Materials, a certified chef who provides healthy food choices that meet many different dietary needs, rent which includes a classroom, gymnasium, kitchen and playground, a specialized music program, continuing education, and the salaries of our teachers. Teachers who all have college and/or university educations and either Montessori assistant or Montessori teaching diplomas.
To establish $10.00 per day daycare, the government of Ontario tried to convince us to sign an open-ended contract with no guarantees of funding past 2023. For our little school, this is simply not viable. Entering into such an agreement would limit how much we spend on learning materials and how much staff would be paid, thus jeopardizing the quality of programming we are known for.

Admission Guidelines
Enrolment preference will be given to families with a firm commitment to the Montessori philosophy and who intend to keep their child in our program for the full three-year cycle. An existing student will be offered the opportunity to make the first choice in enrolment. Once existing students are served, priority will go to siblings, alumni, and public wait list. The school reserves the right to adjust the enrolment placement of students at any time.
Classes are multi-aged, and Bayside Montessori School will make every reasonable effort to balance each class with respect to age and gender. Bayside Montessori School admits students of any race, colour, national and ethnic origin to all rights and privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It is the practice of Bayside Montessori School to offer enrolment to children with minor difficulties in speech or who speak a different language. Bayside Montessori can not offer services to children with special needs as we do not have the appropriate training or resources.
