Bayside Montessori School is a private preschool in Kingston, Ontario. Founded as a Montessori school in 1989, Bayside Montessori School provides its students with the highest calibre of private preschool education.
The Montessori classrooms and learning environments are designed to facilitate student discussion and stimulate collaborative learning. Montessori classrooms are laden with plants, art, music, books and interest centres, but most importantly, they are bright, warm, and inviting. The interest centres are filled with intriguing materials, fascinating mathematical models, maps, historical artifacts, small natural science areas, and much, much more. It only takes a glance to realize that the children are comfortable and feel at home.
Our mission is to focus on each child as an individual and to encourage each child to reach his or her maximum potential by providing a positive, stimulating, and nurturing environment. Bayside Montessori School aims toward promoting an atmosphere conducive to positive parent-teacher relationships and, by our example, we promote self-discipline, mutual trust, and respect in order for our students to become content and responsible adults.
